Law Practice

Bruce practices both Oregon and Washington law. He served as a Deputy District Attorney from 1972 to 1974 for Multnomah County and as a Senior District Attorney from 1974 to 1976. Since 1976, he has worked in private practice, concentrating in workers' compensation and liability defense. He is one of the founding partners of Sather, Byerly & Holloway, LLP.

Professional Activities

Member of the Oregon State Bar; Washington State Bar Association; Oregon Self-Insurers Association; Defense Research Institute; Multnomah County Bar Association; Washington Self-Insurers Association; and co-chair of the 1996 OSB Committee for the Annual Workers' Compensation Meeting. Bruce has completed the Washington Self-Insurers Association Claims Certificate and Professional Course.
